Empowering Tomorrow: FDD Congo's Campaign to Support Homeless

The FDD CONGO is organizing a one-day campaign on June 30th, 2024. They have chosen this day because it is a holiday in the DRC, and more members will be available. The campaign is Entitled: Bringing awareness to the homeless about available resources to empower homeless youth.

Mr. Menakumbundu Patience, in charge of FDD campaigns and strategies, highlighted the following activities on the day:

-Meal preparation and distribution to homeless people.

-Message from the FDD Congo president to the homeless people about available resources that can empower homeless youth (by giving them access to trade and other professional training).

-Establishing a database of homeless youth within the surrounding communities.

-Health walk by the members.

-Refreshment of members.

By raising awareness and offering tangible resources, FDD Congo is not just addressing immediate needs but also laying the groundwork for a brighter future for the homeless youth in the DRC.
